IMO, you are starting with the best. If I may suggest another:

Grab a nice used copy for under $10

Thanks George, that's certainly  a great bargain - unfortunately I am a bit allergic to Frank Sinatra!  :o :-[

I used to be, too. That early set helped me appreciate him. No worries, it's there if you should ever want to give him a shot.

Thanks, I never say never - I even started liking AC/DC a bit this year (I didn't think that was possible!) :D

Nice one.  I have them as indiviual CDs.
Excellent! - I don't have anything prior to 1958 Miles in my MD collection so will be interested to see how this work compares to his later efforts. Looking forward to these recordings very much.

Sometimes Miles Davis on Prestige and, especially, Relaxin', is my all time favorite Jazz. I don't think there's ever been a better pairing of jazz musicians like Davis and Coltrane in the late 1950s. What an amazing interplay they had.

Nice purchases Conor - all 3 are great, nigh essential.   ;)

Is the Miles a CD, or an LP? I've been interested in a mono CD edition of KOB for ages.

Indeed.  KOB can be very addictive when it comes to different editions.  I have two stereo cds.  The first is CK08163, which is a very early cd release from Japan.  Sounds fantastic.  I also have the newer 75 Anniversary release.  Good as well.  Then I snapped up a newly pressed 180 gram vinyl record by Jazz Legacy in Stereo Fidelity.  Incredible stuff.  However, still need that mono recording.  Just not sure which to get.  Go big time for a 45rpm edition, snag an original 6 Eyed pressing, or stay within my means. ;D

Since the story of Tangerine Dream seems to have ended, I figured I better collect stuff missing in my collection:

Two live sets: Rocking Mars and Arizona '92.

Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

From Barnes and Noble.

Did not realize until I got home that the Miles set is CD-R.

That happened to me once on a live Mile's cd.  It was the Coltrane section of the Stockholm set.  I really need to go and get the complete set as I did like what I heard on my cdr.
