I don't think any list is worthwhile unless it includes all composers that at least are worthy of investigation, even if they are not important. Sometimes a composer is of value for maybe a single work. If so, he or she should be on the list. Take Shcherbachyov for instance. He deserves a place for his Claire de Lune if for nothing else.

same thing with Decaux...... since "Claires de Lune" is (just about) the ONLY thing he wrote.....

actually, i think you should have at least one recording with a label that isn't extremely obscure to qualify first.

At least Shcherbachyov reached Op 25 although I cannot find any information on his other works. This is a pity as he seems to have been an innovator.
