Well, if you really have to leave - that's the one condition! $:)

Have a good time with all that music-learning! :D

Maciek

I learned some from you, Maciek (you happen to have excellent taste...in my humble opinion!).

You are always so kind even when people don't deserve it.  ;)

If people could remember me for even "just" that, I would be very happy, 71db.

When I saw the title of this thread I thought it would be the post from someone annoucing a terminal illness, having been told you have only a few days to live.

How old are you?

Too old, Michel!

Best Wishes!

Don't ignore mine, Andy! You're leaving? Let me quote Eric Cartman: Son of a bitch...

I'm gonna go sit in a corner and pout until you come back.

I won't be gone too long, and you are very kind Sarge.

Andy - first, good luck in your 'many' endeavors - I'm sure that you'll be successful!  We will all miss your posts and enthusiasm (and a 'kindred soul' interested in that so-called Gurnian Period) -  ;D

Hope to see you posting occasionally and return to us in the near future - best wishes - Dave  :D

Best wishes to you as well, Dave. And how could I not be interested in a period with Gurn's name in it?

Andy, I will think of you every time I listen to Mozart's 35th Symphony . . . . . .  :D

I'll never listen to Brahms' magnificent first PC without you in mind, D!

Thanks so much, Steve, the feeling is mutual!

All the best, Andy.
Enjoy your Haydn and Beethoven string quartets in the mean time! :)

Oh, stop it, Andy! You're making me blush ;D.

Thanks to you I have a whole list of classical quartet recordings waiting for a (financially) opportune moment! :D

All the best!

Andy,
It has been a pleasure posting with you. Best luck on your new endeavors. Already looking forward to your safe and speedy return. :)

I'll be back because here I have found some of the most respectful, admirable, decent people I've ever met, period. This forum seems to be about real community.
And you fit right in.  Your charm and graciousness will be missed.  Cheers!

And back to both Gurn and you, Karl! Your friendship, like music, has added to my world.

Friendly cheers back to you, longears, for your own kindness and great taste in music!

I hope you'll return soon, Andy.  But I have to say, adding three new students is the best kind of reason for leaving (says somone who places a high value on music education).   :D

Good luck, and please return when you can!

Good luck with the new instruments and the guitar students, Andy. I think you really have a nice personality, and you have contributed a lot in giving this forum a good humour atmosphere.

I also find your varied tastes in music welcomed - from Mozart and Haydn to Converge and Morbid Angel. You seem open-minded and that's always a good thing IMO.

You will be missed, and hope you return soon!

Well I do not agree with you going Andy, but if you must you must.
Take care of your self, and be good to your girlfriend you hear. :)

I did not see this thread until today, and it pains me, not to have said, how I enjoyed his ravings about Haydn, o well Andy if you read this, had a jolly fine time with your posting.
Don't stay away to long. :)
