Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Season 1 (2024)

Apparently the book's author was displeased with the films, so he has a larger role in this streaming show. There is definitely a stronger presence of Greek Mythology, thus I learned about Iris, Oizys, Echidna, and Porphyrion.

Excited I finally managed to get a copy of season 3 of Tin Star, so got straight into the first couple of episodes last night, and its every bit as good as I hoped.

Yeah, nobody is going to be satisfied with their life encapsulated in 7 or 8 minutes. Even so, in broad strokes, it's an amazing document.
It's all good...

@Number Six I believe that you sadly disappeared before I had a chance to say that I watched the last episode of The Prisoner ["Who is No. 1?!"].   :(  Glad that you are back!

Good job taking it all in quickly! It's a fantastic show, but it can get a little repetitious after a while.

That ending is bonkers, right? :P

Just started watching a BBC series called River.  It's a BBC show/series dealing with a police officer who is struggling to deal with the deaths of people that he knew (including victims, etc.).  I won't say more.

SILO continues on Apple TV+, with one new episode a week. This week was s02e04.

This season, they have done something fascinating: They are giving us parallel stories that show the aftermath of a major event and the early days of a similar event. Because we know where all the activity can lead, there's a great deal of suspense every time something happens.

It's a terrific show with lots of great acting.

Watching a bit of the series called Jo with Jean Reno.  It's a police procedural set in Paris (though the dialogue is in English).  From 2013.
