For supposedly not having a strategy, it sure seems like the US is deploying force and weapons here, there, and everywhere.

I don't play video games. But this caught my eye ...

I don't even know what this article is talking about after reading it, but I noticed in the comments a chart with a list of "actual females in game development." Like a rare species.  ???

But I guess that's to be expected, considering my programming classes always having been a 90% sausage fest...

I know should hate Hitler or Stalin or Ted Bundy more than Joni Mitchell. But I really hate Joni Mitchell. http://pjmedia.com/eddriscoll/2014/09/01/the-secret-torment-of-joni-mitchell/

The others are just historical figures.  Joni Mitchell delivers anguish which you feel.

QuoteDoes anyone really find a hugely underweight model with a miserable expression on her face alluring?
Definitely not, and I don't understand this at all.

Dancing Divertimentian

Veit Bach-a baker who found his greatest pleasure in a little cittern which he took with him even into the mill and played while the grinding was going on. In this way he had a chance to have the rhythm drilled into him. And this was the beginning of a musical inclination in his descendants. JS Bach

So, I am reading about the latest research on NutraSweet, Splenda, saccharin, etc. and how they might be just as bad as sugar in causing diabetes.

Because I have read such research in other areas before (Drinking Water Causes Cancer!!! (If you drink 5 gallons a day, or something)), I keep waiting to discover the dosage involved to come to this conclusion.

Near the end I read this incredible statement concerning the saccharin dosage:

Quote...saccharin doses given the volunteers were within federal dietary guidelines but still much higher than what a typical person would consume - the equivalent of 42 12-once (Sic!) sodas a day for a person weighing 150 pounds

??? ??? ???
