Old pictures never die, they just fade way.

'The man who captured his life on camera'

"At about age 11, he was gifted the cine-camera by his grandparents, whom he lived with in Stanely House, Paisley after his father died during World War One. Armed with an obsession for moving pictures, Harry went on to make 400 films of incidents great and small".

"You overestimate my power of attraction," he told her. "No, I don't," she replied sharply, "and neither do you".

You may want to go back a read, carefully, the exact words I wrote.  Or not.  Doesn't matter.

Oh, you mean one particular copyrighted column from The Guardian didn't run in the WaPo? Who says humour is dead?

Plummeting insect numbers 'threaten collapse of nature'

Definitely bad news.  Scary news.  Terrifying news, actually.  Nature will collapse.  It kinda makes you wonder how the UN could be so irresponsible as to advocate bug eating, and how the Graun could have possibly run this story only last October:

Would you eat insects to save the planet from global warming?

That's parody on your part, surely? Eating crickets has nothing to do with "plummeting insect numbers" nor would any threat for their species be associated with that. In fact, if you want to preserve it, eat it! Being delicious is good for most species*.

(* And where it doesn't, we damn well ought to think hard until we come up with the right incentives to protect them. I'm not a monster, after all. I just want tuna-tartar to still be there for my grandchildren!)

There is no shame in it. There are so many languages I don't speak, like Jamaican, or Belgian. Hell, I don't even speak Canadian now I think of it.
