All right, there's no mention of a virus, so it's not the Platonic form of virus spam. It does mention that Buffet is going to Japan for treatment, so I'll count it anyway.

Ah! I was always suspicious when Wikipedia asked me for money that it was some sort of scam.

Do they say anything about whether having already accepted Mr. Pinault's donation of US$ 1m disqualifies you from opting for Mr. Buffett's offer? Just to make sure.... ;) :D

Media Coverage Doesn't Actually Determine Public Opinion On The Economy

That's right, you can't really argue people into a position that conflicts with their personal experience.

My stimulus payment arrived in the bank account I use for federal income tax purposes. I don't feel particularly stimulated.

I checked my account and it was debited for the federal payment on April 13.

Carlton the Tax Genius sent me a nice email. He likes my sense of humor, possibly because he read my review of his service, which among other things praised his "general awesomeness".

I just remembered that Social Security recipients will get their stimulus checks the same way they get their SS checks, in my case direct deposited to my checking account at a local bank. It's not linked to the tax return.
