I've listened to classical on and off for years, though not nearly as seriously as many others here. I listen to a lot of other music as well as old time radio programming. I just ordered the massive Brilliant Mozart set as a late Christmas present so I expect that'll keep this classical kick going for a while. In addition to music, I kill free time watching classic films, especially serials, reading pulp fiction, and working my amateur radio.

Welcome to GMG, Ryan.  What classical music do you like?  You mentioned ordering a Mozart set, so I assume that's one.  You'll find people here who like a great variety of classical music.  :)

Welcome Ryan,I love old radio programmes ,especially the ,dramas,soaps and the comedies,even the ads are great."Only the Shadow knows...".And then there's the music! I was born in '53 too late for radio.

Oh very interesting, thanks.  Haven't thought about "ham" radio in quite awhile, but there is obviously a huge community out there.  (Somehow with your username, I thought you were in Australia!)
