On this date,1982, died scottish William Primrose
(borne in 1903); to many the best violist between
the 20s and the 60s. Not so for other violist, who
criticized him as a frustrated violinist who played
the viola as a violin. He left many recordings,as
solist and as a member of many chamber groups;
famous his collaboration with Heifetz and Piatigorsky:
Piantale a la leche hermano, que eso arruina el corazón! (from a tango's letter)
