I was sitting here, eating a chocolate bar, wondering what kinds of candy you guys enjoy. :)

I was eating a plain old Hershey's almond.

I'm a super candy fiend. Well really just a candy fiend. Just give me an igloo made out of sugar cubes and I'll be happy for about 10 mins :) My favorites are caramel chocolate, taffy, and licorice, and fruity type candy like the non white mentos that are yummy.

I could live on these. Seriously.

Pearson's Salted Nut Roll is a candy made by the Pearson's Candy Company of Saint Paul, Minnesota. It has a nougat center that is surrounded in a layer of caramel and then covered with salted Virginia peanuts. It has been manufactured by Pearson's since the 1930's.

Sounds good.  But, I don't think we have these in Canada.  Oh well, perhaps on the next trip to Grand Forks or Fargo, ND.  :D

Is that where you take your trips? You poor man.

Dark chocolate with a minimum 60% cocoa content (preferably higher).  :)  Unfortunately it has large amounts of saturated fat.  :'(  Milk chocolate is also good, but not nearly as good as dark chocolate.  ;)

Not for vacationing, only for "shopping", and many goods are cheaper in the States than in Canada.

And it's close, less than 2 hour dr. to Grand Forks and 3.5 hrs to Fargo.  6.5 hrs to Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Speak for yourself.  Not everyone feels the need to follow organized religion.

Organized candy. Now that's a different story. ;)

No, I don't know what that meant either.

I like both, but generally with black ones, I can only have 1 piece, maybe 2 if I'm daring that day. Red ones, I can keep going until my saliva has the consistency and color of blood. Works great on Halloween.

Same with the licorice for me. I can't eat alot of dark chocolate, maybe 4 squares. It makes it so undesirable that i can't finish the bar, that I go for the milk chocolate with caramel or almonds. Not that I dislike the taste of dark chocolate, just its hard to have alot.

....... many types of dark chocolate are VERY healthy, even given the fat content (esp. raw, organic cocoa).

Mexican candy? Never been there.

I don;t like any of the candies around
if you don't count the one and only:

I haven't had any for the last couple of years though, it was an addiction -almost- as cruel as tobacco  >:D
