Reading and listening are creative activities, D, if you take them seriously. Every artist starts out as a voracious enjoyer (or destroyer, if he encounters something he doesn't like...) of other men's works. And even when producing your own work and after having found your own voice, you still learn every day, and you still get that ecstatic feeling there is so much beauty and power still waiting to be discovered (apart from rediscovering and re-assessing the works you thought you knew).

It never ends. Only in death.

I finished the second draft of a novel last night and have passed the manuscript on to my collaborator for his revisions.

Now I can start work on another solo project.
