Recommendations for Bruckner's 8th symphony

I expect this sort of snobbery from you. Yes I don't have the privilage and experience as you, but I would sell my soul to the devil to hear Giulini conduct a Bruckner 8th live, of course! You'd expect a uncultured couth like me to stick to listening N'Sync and Eminem than giving some commentary about a Bruckner recording. Whatever. Note that I put TWO Giulini recordings on my list of greatest Bruckner 8ths ever recorded. Is there an ultimate Bruckner 8th? I haven't listen enough to make that conclusion; Wand/BPO, Furtwangler/BPO (Testament) and Celi/MunichPO. Although Giulini/VPO is indeed the finest Bruckner 8th I've ever heard the experienced likened to being in a communion. Just a little short of firepower, which I will turn to Maazel/BPO if I want. Apparently this kind of superficial description doesn't please our dear enlightened scholar M 

Just give up, he's a hopeless case. Let him enjoy himself in his pitiful little world.
