Big "yes" to that.   :D  Játékok is very interesting; you might enjoy these comments, still posted following a Carnegie Hall exploration of his works a few years back.  I am also a huge fan of Stele (1994), a short piece for large orchestra.

You might also want to try some Aperghis, although some of his works are better experienced live, since they have theatrical components that don't come across on audio-only recordings.  Récitations for solo voice (1977-78) is one of his best works, and thanks to UbuWeb, here is the recording by Martine Viard.  (I believe the recording is long OOP.)
