I found this clip on YouTube. You have seen portions of it on the internet and on television, posted by others.

There is still much to which reasonable people may object, perhaps in a few cases, even must object. But I think anyone of good will will see that the portions which have been seen before are deliberate distortions culled and shaped to bear false witness to the true preachments of Rev. Wright, and, by association, to the reputation of Sen. Barack Obama.

Here is the complete text of Psalm 137. Thought it would be a useful reference in understanding the clip above In the Catholic Douay Rheims translation, it is Psalm 136:

Psalm 137, entire

[1] By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down,
and there we wept when we remembered Zion.

[2] On the willows there we hung up our harps.

[3] For there our captors asked us for words of song,
and our tormentors, for mirth:
"Sing to us from the songs of Zion!"

[4] How could we sing the song of the LORD on an alien land?

[5] If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill,

[6] May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth
if I do not remember you,
if I do not set Jerusalem above my highest joy.

[7] Remember, O LORD, against the sons of Edom
the day of Jerusalem's fall, those who said:
"Tear it down! Tear it down to its foundation!"

[8] O daughter of Babylon that will be devastated:
Fortunate is the man who repays you what you have done to us;

[9] Fortunate is the man who will seize and dash
your little ones against the rock!

Actually, in the Douay-Rheims version, that last sentence is:

Blessed be he that shall take and dash thy little ones against the rock.
"Don't drink and drive; you might spill it."--J. Eugene Baker, aka my late father.
