It's annoying when he applies it to music, it's just gross when he applies it to humans.

Why Lethe ?...  I haven't even posted any photos of women I find lovely.
I worship Debussy's gentle revolution  -  Prelude To The Afternoon of A Faun  -  for its mostly carefree mood and its rich variety of exquisite sounds.

Hi Val,

She is no great shakes in the looks department either in my book...

Well, Eric, you'll have to resign yourself to the fact that "your book" here doesn't find much traction with us in this forum.

And if "your book" is foundering here, the signs are not auspicious for it to become a universal text out in the wide world.

Of the people who do find AJ attractive, it is nice to give them credit that they really do feel this way rather than assuming that they are brainwashed :P Given how important finding an attractive (and pleasant) mate is to people - perhaps their number one priority - the majority opinion is difficult to argue against. I have quite unorthodox tastes in what looks I find looks good in either sex, but they are nothing more than personal preference, and as I am in the minority, if anything I am the "wrong" one :D (Although I am fine with that)

You may not have supplied photos, but you did rather piss on other people's valid opinions with the non-quoted part of your first post. "Voluptuous" figures work fine with some women, but not with others, some who it would work well with would look equally fine slimmer. I don't find AJ to be a particularly appealing look in the slim spectrum, but many do. There is enough pressure for women to be constantly "hot" without trying to tear down entire brackets of them for not meeting the weigh-in...

Fair point, Lethe. I'm still hoping that someone out there finds me beautiful besides my mother :).

By now she's old enough to be my Grandmother but back then and in a different time looking the way she does in that photo I wouldn't have thrown her out of bed for eating crackers  ;D!!

Donald Trump speaking to Larry King on his CNN program:

"Angelina Jolie is sort of amazing because everyone thinks she's like this great beauty. And I'm not saying she's an unattractive woman, but she's no beauty, not by any stretch of the imagination...."

You can't buy class, apparently.

Once or twice a year we find something to agree on!  Though Grace Kelly was the most beautiful woman in the movies, too.  And don't forget Jane Fonda.  Or Hedy Lamarr.

Hmmm, come to think of it, there've been quite a few beautiful women in the movies.  Imagine that!
