In perusing the internet on musical subjects, among the many names involved in the professional activities within the discipline, I occasionally would come across the name of pianist Jonathan Powell ,a British musican who has contributed significanty to the pianistic repertoire of many  well known as well as those of relatively little known awareness. Judging from what little I do know is that Powell has performed many difficult and well loved pieces on my part.  Is there anyone who knows anything abut this particular performer? His likes and dislikes? Which composers could perhaps be his preferred among the many he has performed?  As of now I have yet to hear a performance of a most interesting  active musician.

He's the only one i heard who has ever played Sorabji correctly, at least to my ears.
