There is a new website I have been trying to use that asks me to authenticate my computer. Every time I try to do this, the browser crashes. Any ideas?

Also, should I be using the computer user name and password or the one I use for the website specifically?

Which browser are you using?  If Safari, sometimes there are sites that aren't too friendly.  You might try Firefox.  It can be more stable.

Hi George:)  I use IE 6/7 & Firefox on Windows & Ubuntu computers, so not sure that I'll be of much help; but, you might want to provide the URL of the website that you're trying  to connect to?  I'm assuming that this site is legit -  ;) - otherwise that may be the issue?  Don't want you to get HIJACKed by a rogue website that might plant a Trojan on your computer?   ;)  But certainly, don't provide your login info to your own computer - good luck!  Dave
