RIP Beach Boys, Elvis and Miles Davis.  :'(

You know what to do by now: Vote against three albums from the list above.

It looks like it's the Beatles vs. Dylan though Jimi has something to say about that. I know it will be difficult to pick three for some of you, however you must at least try.  ;D

Happy voting!  :)

It's been painful from the beginning, but this round I had to ask for morphine.

I took out the three late Beatles' albums....I'm not proud.

How so buddy?  There are still two Dylan albums to be eliminated.  ;D >:D

Buddy is a word you can no longer use for me, sir.  $:)

Seriously, I voted off Blonde on Blonde, Exile and Velvet Underwear.

Three quite easy ones (as the competition is tough):

Exile on Main Street
Highway 61 Revisited
Are You Experienced

But most of all I'm sad to see one of my all time fave albums, Velvet Underground, in a bad position... :'(

Well...they didn't even have White Light, White Heat on the list to begin with.  Duh!

Yeah, they do. On the full list, it's #292.

This was harder. The Clash was easy. Are You Experienced wasn't.

Hardest for me was the Velvet Underground.

And I would take the Clash album over those others.  8) Such intensity. Such diversity.

For me it was all about Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag.

Yeah, I know other guys like that. More hardcore. I wasn't really much into straight punk.

I flushed Velvet, White, and London.

Though Exile would not have been my RS representation, they deserve representation to the end.

I think The Beatles are overloaded. $:)

Highway 61, London Calling, & the Velvets.  Ouch.   :'(  Very glad that this is just a mental exercise.

And I am shocked, shocked I tell you, by the lack of love for Exile on Main Street  $:) ;D For me that album is just brilliant, easily the best thing the Stones ever did.  I love the sheer sound of it, the way it's produced and the way they use layers of brass and vocals and guitars to create such a complex, almost symphonic feel.  As an album, I think it hangs together better than almost anything else left on the list, a thematic whole much greater than the sum of its parts.  A much better "concept album" than Sgt. Pepper could ever hope to be (and this from a confirmed Beatlemaniac).
The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils.
The motions of his spirit are dull as night,
And his affections dark as Erebus.
Let no such man be trusted.

I did not flush Dylan.

Who needs a concept? The RS album happened early on.
