I did two days for earlier rounds but this one was started on the weekend, so I made it longer. Besides, we're getting more votes this way.

Nah, dump the early Beatles (Yellow Submarine is a crappy children's ditty, Michelle is maudlin and Sgt Pepper's is the most over-rated aesthetic statement of the 20th century). Hang onto the White Album and Abbey Road. All Dylan should be retained. Hendrix's 4 studio albums are genius. Exile is a blast.

Actually, by early Beatles I meant middle period (Rubber Soul to Magical Mystery Tour) - while containing some fine songs (Tomorrow never Knows, Walrus, Day in the Life, etc) - they are all rather self conscious. Early Beatles (suits, haircuts, b/w Dick Lester) is exhilarating. Late Beatles (White Album and Abbey Road) is simply a lot of fun (especially my favourite the sprawling White Album - a potted history of popular music).
