Yes, this is one of my favorite string recordings of all time. The sound is dated (1930s recording), but very warm and rich with excellent timbral accuracy.

Mozart (our full member, that is), thank you! I did not this piece before. I just purches the Kremer-Kashkashian-Ma recrdng and am listening to it at this very moment. Beautiful stuff!

Thank you for this link - and people please continue talking about this and what about it makes it the best in your opinion. It's my set work for an exam I'm doing next week and need to know it inside out! What is unique about it? The virtuosic and contrapuntal lines?
