Bogey, I was not sure I liked this bit.......

"He started doing it at work, years ago, when he was living in Brisbane, Australia. "I'd dance at lunchtime or during an awkward pause or just to annoy people," Mr. Harding said. "It was sort of a nervous tic.""

That apart, as it says in the item, you watch it and you feel a bit happier.

DavidW: Yeah Mike doesn't get angry, he gets even.
I wasted time: and time wasted me.

And at worst, you can use some of them for letter-openers. ;D

Edit: My post #1300 was a one-liner? Oh, drats.

What about GM Studio, or Robert for that matter?

Aw, someone remembered. *wipes tear*

I'm still around. Spring and Summer aren't really "Classical Music" seasons for me...I'm more of a Fall/Winter guy. In the spring/summer I tend to go on a big jazz/electronica/pop kick. So lately it's been some John Mayer, Sigur Ros, revisiting Miles and 'Trane, etc.

On the side I play electric bass for-hire, so I've been doing some pit band work (Tommy, West Side Story) and a few cabaret-type shows here and there.  I'll be back more in the fall and winter.  That's when I hit the classics hard again. Hope everyone's having a great summer!

Delete it and write your masterpiece instead.

For post #1300? No, that was more fit for something relatively pedestrian, but not altogether trite; certainly not a one-liner.

Post #2000 is an altogether different story...

How many times does it happen that a member leaves in disgust because there is someone here who he or she can't abide.  That person might subsequently leave and the one that has left to avoid him or her doesn't know.  I bet if a notice was sent out that Saul is gone we would have a hundred returning members.   >:D

Ha. That's great. Everyone should have a nuisance rating.  ;D

Better yet, a nuisance classification: I claim O3, for "moderately obtuse"

(O5 being the rating reserved for very special cases, to give you a feel for the Renfield System of Posters' Agreeability, RSPA for short).

If ever there was an experiment that tore at the fabric of the board, that was it. The laughter element in it just got swamped by all the corruption!

It SEEMED like a good idea at the time, however, and did generate more than a few laughs...

The reality is if this forum were powered by a different company, it would be possible to have an ignore user function through Firefox.

What is forum powered by, anyway?

But what about those of us who don't want to be ignored?

They have more choice over that than they apparently realize.

M forever, your PM box is full.

Anyways, I'm going to post my reply here because it explains why I am currently a "member who has left":
QuoteGenerally working from 1-10 each day, and the reading list I've given myself for the summer takes up the rest of the time...for a couple reasons the past week was especially bad, but I'm extending my net vacation because it's such a huge distraction for me, and I need to work on controlling such things and improving time management before another and more difficult year of college.
:)

See you around, guys...!
