I need to go to the registry (in Manhattan, NY) to pick up an ID next week.

I can do it either Monday or Tuesday. I plan to go first thing in the morning, but wanted to hear if its better (in terms of waiting) to go on Tuesday?

I'd much rather go on Monday and be done with it, but I know government offices can be a nightmare on Mondays.

What do you think?

If you were in the Commonwealth, I might advise you.

But, you are not  :)

Yes, I escaped long ago.  ;D

(Though I suspect the trends in Beantown can't be that different from NYC)  :-\

Man, I thought it was one of these registries:

Was coming in to congratulate you ...
Durch alle Töne tönet
Im bunten Erdentraum
Ein leiser Ton gezogen
Für den der heimlich lauschet.

;D ;D ;D

Yes, I just changed it. Karl understood 'cause we're from the same hood.  :)

It's been a while, so I don't know if Tuesday vs. Monday makes any difference. Last time I went to the DMV in NY was in Brooklyn (Atlantic Ave.), which was fairly quick. 1/2 hour or so.

Lucky you're not in California! The California DMV is likely the most incompetent organization I've ever dealt with.

C'mon now,  who is going to be the first to say, "C'mon XB, why don't you tell us what you really think!?"   ::)  ;D
