And finally decided to create my own profile and pay for a subscription. $66 later... 
Not very many matches, but at least one or two seem cool. Gotta wait until tomorrow for the website to approve my photos, then I'll send them a message. I don't expect a date, though, just a sad, failed experiment that costs some money.
