I grew up on Jackson!  My first tape that I ever owned was Michael Jackson's Bad.  And Thriller is still the best music video I've ever seen!  And Billie Jean is still one of the best pop songs ever!!  Darn you Karl!

You're right. I didn't vote for this either. It feels just a little scary, waking up to heat like this. There's a character to it that feels ... ominous.

No point. They'd just set up a committee to investigate it in private, and then (if it ever reported at all) it would say that the weather was doing nothing wrong. It was just following the rules.

Well, it is possible that Gordy would claim that it would be worse under the Tory party. He would promise a rise in the temperature over the coming five years.

Mandy would explain he did not mean what he said, Labour would in fact be cutting the temperature over the next four years, except in old folks homes, (They need old folk to peg out and stop bed-blocking.) The Chancellor would say that no decision had been taken and would not until after the election. The Governor of the BoE would say that existing temperatures are not sustainable. The WHO would warn against increases in temperature. Gordy would say he had been misquoted and that the temperature would in fact remain a constant.

In any case, they won't let you into Downing St to protest. So, we can all just lie on our bathroom floors and fade into oblivion until the cock crows.
