What place?  ???

GMG.  Well, at one time last night.  Only you, me and George were on.  For a brief period, I'd never seen GMG so desolate.  ;D

Hey, as far as I'm concerned, you, Dave & George are a party, Ray!

Believe me, most message boards don't have this level of activity. They're really not supposed to. This is more like a massive chat room.

So when deserted, more like a ghost room than a ghost town? I wonder if a virtual candle flickers inexplicably somewhere? Or some part of the virtual room space feels unnaturally cold?

Wouldn't it be scary if you were the only one on the board....all day long?  :o  Wouldn't you start wondering?  ;D

My roommate started playing that game on a Tuesday evening two nights ago and couldn't stop. Literally, he played the entire game in one night.

DavidW

Probably 90% of the time he spent on that hard final level. ;D

Are most of you Americans? You're online at the wrong time. Hey Admin, please introduce official Wurst opening times ;):

Erm, and Central European time please :)

Mo,-Fr: 6-7am, 6-10pm
Wed: 12-2pm
Sa, Sun: Whole Wurstday (i.e. 12:00 - 00:00)

I'm sure you Americans don't mind getting up at 4am, as GMG is important enough for your survival!

Honestly: Some German politician (teh interwebb wannabe contr0113rz) came up with the idea, to sanctionize the porn industry by introducing opening times for web sites, hahaha! Child protection, protection of any citizen from unwanted opinion like racism and such is a big topic here in Germany. As for the written and spoken word, Germany does not believe in autonomously thinking citizens or in the "market" of opinions. Other than the U.S., afaik you are allowed to say or write any bullshit you want.

The advantage is: In germany, if you are at a loss, if you live under a bridge, just go on the market place and say a few words ;). Easy. This will bring you a warm room (also a room mate) and free meals.

I feel fed up and beleaguered, and rather despondent about the possibility of anybody ever understanding anybody else most of the time.

So please somebody, say something pleasant, but easy. But however easy you think it is, be warned that I may not understand you, and you may not understand any reply I might make. You may not even understand this. I may not even understand it myself.

:o (I find this generally to be the most useful of the smilies.)
