Oh, yes. I'm back in the Minnesota man cave.

Thank you.

Karl Henning

I've added to the parcel, to assure you there is no penalty . . . .

And just in time to cheer for Dragon! ;D

Is it a sporting event? Or  a rock concert? No, it's a piece of tin-can unfurling its solar panels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-gSkGQnFR8#t=56m20s. Seriously, I can't get enough of nearly 2000 people shouting and whistling for a satellite deployment! :D

According to Nietzsche a nation which lives strong, don't need war. The Americans live strong (as well as the Brazillians?).

I know that experience, and I live forward to that day it becomes normal for me, with all the meaning that only I know (very different from how the American's live, far more individual), and I won't present here... You will see.

Why is it that the second I actually get enough money worth putting in a savings account, bank interest rates are lower than ever?
Where is a good place to put, say, $5000 to start with? What should I expect as the best rate, 1%?  ::)

Well, I guess you can't do this any more. My parents only make $.14 a month with an account with $4000 in it.
Is there anywhere at all where I can make 1% monthly gain off of a $5000 investment (with little risk)? ANYWHERE? ? ? ? ? ? ?

"At least it's not Detroit!"

Speaking of Detroit...

There is a 3-part video tour of Detroit's Ghetto:

It looks like a city that just came out of a war, and every building looks like it's 100 years old and falling apart...

Having a teenager at home allows me to learn various things about today's yoot culture.  For instance, I was wondering why in the hell people were protesting NATO last week.  Well, sure enough, there are some Occupier types at my son's high school.  He's a bit skeptical of such things, so he inquired as to the burr up the butt of protestors, and he learned that the problem is that NATO - the North Atlantic Trade Organization - is bent on world domination through a combination of banking, trade, and war.  You learn something new every day.
