Hm... just as I had suspected! Those words were taken from somewhere else.

Oh, here's Leopard vs. Gorilla

While no videos of Bear vs. Gorilla, we can find an enlightening debate on the subject:

Thanks.  I made several....silly mistakes, saying Palestrina was late 15th century (was thinking late 1500s), couldn't think of Ligeti for the first one (But had the right time), and couldn't think of the Indonesian term that went along with the Balinese Gamelan music (but again, knew it was Balinese, and knew about the shimmering effect).

I'm just.....so happy.

I know I've heard that before....  Don't tell me ... hmmmm ... Richard Simmons?

Haha! No, but his skills are special and nightmarish, no doubt.

Good luck ...

If you'd like to make it more interesting, I suggest you memorize this response to the inevitable interview request to "Tell us about yourself."

Hmmm... Is it illegal to visit your old schools just for fun? Or is it trespassing...?

The ones with the outside portables would probably be easy- just take a basketball and go the outside court on the way. The problem would be the inside buildings... high school I could probably pass as an 18-year old and no one would suspect anything; middle school would probably be impossible to visit inside of certain buildings; one elementary school might be somewhat easy-ish, while the other is very much in a big building, which might be more difficult.

Too bad you can't do that with previous houses. I can't count how many times I've dreamed of visiting one of my childhood houses and going inside, telling the people currently living there that I'm just visiting and used to live there.

It's a full-time job itself.
It doesn't help that the average application takes over 40 minutes to complete now.
And it's all about timing... my parents would say that I need to go back and talk to the manager. I've done that so many times, but out of each of the 5 jobs I've ever had, I don't think I did that more than once at the most.

Hopefully you get something before November, when half the country comes down to Florida.

I did that thing where I picked up what I thought was my cup of water and took a sip, but it wasn't water, so I reacted like I just drank pee or something and almost spit it out. Then I realized it was just milk.

An old classmate of mine did that and was arrested. :\

Quote from: DavidRoss on September 28, 2012, 04:35:39 AMIt's exactly as I've described, whether you are willing to recognize that or not. Let me repeat the point that you missed and Navneeth glossed: Most readers really do glean what they believe from headlines and the opening paragraph. When Snopes gauges the story as TRUE at the top of the piece, and debunks it only 27 lines later, they're misleading.

Not 27 lines later; the 3rd sentence of the piece.

For late arrivals:
QuoteClaim: Mitt Romney said he thinks airplane windows should be able to roll down in case of fire.

MIXTURE:

TRUE: Mitt Romney said he didn't know why airplane windows don't open.

FALSE: Mitt Romney expressed genuine confusion about why airplane windows don't open.

These three opening lines summarise the whole thing openly and honestly: Romney literally said he didn't know why aircraft windows didn't open. BUT HE WAS JOKING.

Nope.  You've reported this falsely. Line three does not say that he was joking.

I know you have a hard time understanding basic logic, but regardless of your unwillingness to recognize it, there is considerable difference between line 3 saying "it's false that Romney expressed genuine confusion about why airplane windows don't open" and line 27 saying "his posture and tone clearly indicated that he intended the line to be taken as a tongue-in-cheek aside rather than as a serious statement."
