Now that Saul is gone, I can't ask him about whether there are any correlations to some of his pictures.

Their seems to be a relation between 'High Blur' and 'Grey Wood'?

These are pretty good pics with nice perspectives маразм1.  Mobile Phone photography has gone a long way if this is what we can do with our phones. :)

He got fed up with someone and left.  Has the post been removed?

No, but it's been edited so that the reason he gave for leaving is not there anymore.  Credit was given to M.

And credit should be given when credit is due!  0:)

But don't worry, he will be back. Very soon.

Already back. His Guestship lasted about five hours.

I don't think he ever de-registered.  Probably want's to keep his PM box available so he can receive all of our desperate pleas that he return to the forum.

It was sort of strange to have him around.  There was the irritating narcissism that led him to believe that the banal snapshots he took were high art that we should fawn over.  But it was curious to have someone with a bronze age mentality who couldn't conceive of the idea that his point of view wasn't right.  Can't say I have any desire that he return, however.

Can I still get partial credit?

Can I still get partial credit?

You certainly have the honourable mention clinched.

There was nothing whatsoever honourable about it and the crowing does no one any credit.

I was being somewhat sarcastic. Hopefully humour is still permitted, if only a failed attempt at it, in this case... :)

knight doesn't understand the concept of humor.

I'm convinced that "Grey Wood" and "Sunny Leaves" represent the culmination of Saul's artistic genius.

Perhaps it's a different concept that he appreciates. In any case, crowing is right out, humorous or no. Saul made his own decision to leave, and I'll be the first to wave goodbye, but the circumstances of it still rather piss me off, so no crowing or this will be yet another thread that disappears into digital limbo with little regret.

But he said that I drove him off! So why can't I take the credit for that?  :(

Well, last time I drove him off, and you didn't see ME bragging about it. M needs to acquire some modesty. And blush properly when commended for his feats. It becomes him... ;)
