Symphonic Addict

To be released on 4 July:

Kõrvits: Beyond the Solar Fields
Tamberg: Bassoon Concerto, Op. 108
Tüür: Bassoon Concerto

An intriguing program, by the way.
The current annihilation of a people on this planet (you know which one it is) is the most documented and at the same time the most preposterously denied.

Always great to have more Tamberg on disc! Besides the excellent BIS album of his Concerto Grosso, Symphonic Dances, and Joanna Tentata Suite, there's not many recordings of his music that are readily available. Everything I've heard by Tamberg has been really characterful and engaging.

Indeed, Cesar. It's just annoying how certain tracks from these albums are not available on Spotify for some reason! It does appear that most of the works contained therein can be found on YouTube, though. Very bizarre cover art, btw! :o
