Not sure heart attack would be the most likely cause of death in that case (although Kissen looks concerned)

What about Jane Eaglen

Ozzy Osbourne has a serious shot at the crown!

Cruel as the subject might be, I think I'll second her.

(And is he really, sitting on the piano? ;D Now Wanderer's made me worry about the piano, too. :P)

Cruel as the subject might be...

Perhaps. Not the most pleasant thing to talk about but death on stage has happened in the past and will again in the future. Simon Barere died in performance, as did Mindru Katz and probably quite a few others (Kondrashin shortly after in his hotel room). Anyway according to this board isn't death supposed to be an uplifiting subject?

Kissin, judging by his murderous stares towards the semi-apoplectic conductor, seems to be worrying a little along those lines, too.

A point. And add Joseph Keilberth to the list, along with Sinopoli.

Perhaps the sight betrays his trying to gauge Levine's weight, and do the relevant calculations compared to the piano's own weight and durability? He certainly seems appropriately intent...

During the course of the investigation (we all know he wasn't on the piano, but I wanted to know exactly what the seat was like), once it had cleared up I noticed how odd the stool was... I can't guess what that the pointy thing between his legs is... It looks like it is connected to the music stand, even though that has its own stand...

Edit: Why do I care? Why don't I have a life? ;_:

He looks sort of like he's acting nonchalant, preparing to press a button to release the lid catch and bring it crashing down on top of the intruder.

How about Lou Gramm of Foreigner?

Or should I open a Non-Classical artist most likely to have a heart attack on stage thread?  :D

Christine Brewer.

She rolled over to the dais at the Proms the other night ("Make room, make room!" - not one of the Four Last Songs! :-\).
