Not sure what country you are in but in the U.S. you can major in anything as an undergrad provided that you take the necessary courses in biology and chemistry. My sister was an Asian-studies major but she had to take some a bunch of courses in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, etc.. Your school should have a pre-med advisor that can tell you which courses you need to take. Then you have to take the MCAT and for the better medical schools in the US you probably need above a 30 (it is out of 45) to get in (together with a GPA of 3.5 or better).

It is not terribly difficult I suppose since a lot of it is memorization. If you are good in music you probably have a fairly decent memory.

Well, thanks for the information, PW. :) I'll look into what you said as well as my own claim regarding undergrad studies.
