Welcome, trumpetmaster!  What part of the world are you in, and what kinds of trumpet music do you like and/or play?  My most recent trumpet-related purchase was this CD by James MacMillan, of Epeclesis--great piece and recording if you're inclined toward contemporary repertoire.

Anyway, welcome!

TM, welcome. I'm Henk from the Netherlands. I'm curious about the music you prefer. Gives a sort of idea what for person you are :).

TM - welcome aboard the GMG Forum!  :D   Will be nice to get a 'trumpet perspective' & some recommendations - know that I have a number of classical trumpet CDs (and plenty of jazz ones!).

Not sure where you live in LI, but my in-laws have a house in Montauk, so I've been there and the Hamptons plenty of times, but not much in recent years - my brother in law is currently living in the house - he's a retired pyschiatrist (early) and is now in a band and doing some local musical performances (actually he is quite talented musically) - if you're out in that end of LI, you might even know him (last name Becker!).   :)
