Zander says a lot of things in this video, some not entirely or remotely related to music. But a few thoughts worth discussing are his talk of "impulses," his idiosyncratic playing style, his conviction that "everybody loves classical music - they just don't know it yet", and also his selection of shoes.

But mostly I just wanted to share the video.

Classical music on one buttock (and three balls)

I did enjoy some of his lectures and rehearsals. I seldom listen to his recordings however. But from what I remember, they are quite good, or interesting at least.

That was fantastic!  As far as his lectures go, he's like another Bernstein. :)

He's an engaging and energetic speaker.

The lecture disc that accompanies his Mahler 6th is very interesting.
