Sax or baritone on Kizhe, Sarge?

I cheated and looked it up...no baritone listed so I'm guessing Sax.
I've become quite fond of the voice though.

Photo was crudely altered in 2009 to illustrate my looking at sunspots through binoculars, which I suppose is just as daft.   :P :D    One day I will be like unto Terry Gilliam.  Meanwhile, still listening to the Hans Rott.  Good quality stream.

And your opinion of the performances?

Softer-grained, less powerfully projected than either Abbado or Chailly, but I think superbly atmospheric. I like the Telarc recording; expansive with great percussion. Christine Cairns is less impressive, and not as idiomatic as Arkhipova (Chailly) or the great Obraztsova (Abbado).

Or...your eyes have been pecked out by some Rott-en birds, who didn't even have the decency to cover up the scratch marks across your face.  ;D
