Well, I've been reading David Hurwitz's book on Dvorak (subtitled 'Romantic Music's Most Versatile Genius') - comes w/ 2-CDs, but on the Concertos @ the moment, and just 'popped-in' the ones that I currently own (none of those works on the discs that came w/ the book):

Aimard, Midori, & Du Pre on the piano, violin, & cello, respectively - have not listened to these in a while; Hurwitz seems to like virtually all of Dvorak's music - finished up the Suitner 'Symphony Cycle' last night.

Midori is in town - goin' to see her Sunday in concert (believe the Bruch No. 1) -  :)

How is that different from what you do EVERY day?

The difference is this, most of my shopping is done on internet, this time it was in some local shops in the place were I live.

I know all her works very well, have to, because I played them innumerous times, so drop me a line if you want to know, what I think about it. Come to think, I am still waiting for Robert's reaction. Its so silent, that I fear the worst! ;D

Thanks!  So, is one of her NAXOS CD's worth the money?

All the Naxos recordings with Pavlova are very good, and even if they were not, there is no choice.
Yes you can buy them safely.

No, not at all, but had a busy day shopping, collecting cd's from all places. ;D

Whoa! Knowing what volume is on a run-of-the-mill day, the mind reels at what Harry reckons as "a busy day shopping"  :o

;D

I must admit my friend to my ignorance concerning the finer points of English, for I profess in all earnestness, not to comprehend what your words mean.
May I humble apply for explanation.

Well, folks, gotta get back to writing. As I sign out, I start my old turntable and put this excellent vinyl on:
Andy,
How do you feel about having to get up all the time to turn the vinyl over....The only reason I sometimes play my vinyl is because of the sound.....In alot of cases it sounds much better than discs....
