I have some of his symphonies, and they are quite nice!
His piano music is also nice.

Johann Goldberg. (1727-1756)

Complete Harpsichord Concertos.

Concerto in E flat major. (32:35)
Concerto in D minor. (37:34)

Waldemar Doling, Harpsichord.
Sofia Soloists/Emil Tabakov.

Not well known, but nevertheless enormously stimulating music that is well performed and recorded.
Not many composers in that time wrote such long concertos for Harpsichord.
But that does not matter, fact is they are beautiful pieces of music with a feel of Bach in it, which you can hear in the E flat major concerto, second movement "Largo con sordini" very well executed by Waldemar Doling.
Wortwhile acquisition, I have to admit! :)

Mozart "Haffner" Symphony (Herbert Von Karajan/Berliner Philharmoniker)

Never better, to my hears. A glimpse of what Eternal Light in music is.

Excellent indeed. I suggest you also try Arrau for a worthy alternative.

Thanks, Florestan. I will try to listen.  :)
Anyway, your nick 'Florestan' reminds me of a small piece in the "Carnaval" op.9 from Schumann.

Hey, everybody here thinks I'm Florestan as in Fidelio. Actually, I am more like Florestan as in Carnival and Schumann's writings. But, shhhhtt, let it be our little secret. :)

Yes I do very much Andy!

Some good stuff here, though it's probably a bit too obviously ECM for my tastes.

I didn't pay a penny for it though, back when I got it years ago. ;)
