Now playing this SACD, which arrived a few weeks ago from MDT for a first listen on my big rig ...

I haven't listened to any Mendelssohn for many months. This is a stellar set with Dohnanyi and the VPO. Listening to them perform Symphony No. 3 "Scottish" right now.

After listening to Mendelssohn's 3rd, Schoenberg's Verklarte Nacht is a nice change of pace. :)

I have the earlier version with only 3 CD's.  It is an excellent set with some of the best 4th "Italian" ever recorded ...

Terrific set. Glad to see it back in print, not the least because it may contain the best 2nd Symphony of the better known sets. Only one I find competitive with Dohnanyi is Karajan, actually. Whereas Abbado, sad to say, spells crushing boredom in Mendelssohn.

Now off to Beethoven's 9th, live. Juraj Valčuha conducting.
Luba Orgonášová, Lioba Braun, Robert Dean Smith, and Günther Groissböck having a go at it, vocally.

Litanies, motets, psalms - complete works for vocal ensemble and basso continuo on 2 discs (Sony! :o). Settings vary between 2-8 voices, some with organ or fortepiano (Neupert after Dulcken) accompaniment. Really great quality stuff by CPE.

The new erato

This is a very good disc though honestly not up to the level of the recording by Chandos of Casella's 2nd symphony. I hope Chandos makes it into a series.

I find this disc for 10 Euros from an amazon.de reseller, but as they want 12 Eros P&P to Norway there's no chance....and regular amazon.de price is 22 Euros + around 6 Euros P&P....
