I've never owned that disc, but I'm sure I've heard all the recording! : )

Love the Albéniz, in particular!

Listening to Symphony No. 2. Outstanding.

Braga Santos I always find strong in revisitation.

Hindemith: Der Schwanendreher - voting against it and wanted to remind myself of the work, yes, I still don't like it.

Pity! I first heard it as a wee undergrad, and I loved it form the start. For the Kammermusiken, too, I'll pound the table any day.

Sarge

Was just shipped yesterday to me  :D , saw some inspiring words about The Spirit of England in the Elgar thread, so I had to get it.
For thread duty, and I know Sarge will appreciate this, I'll listen to Elgar: Symphony No. 2 in E flat major, Op. 63 - Giuseppe Sinopoli / Philharmonia Orchestra

That's the thing I have found too, Karl. Each time I come back to Braga Santos the music has even more appealing for me.

Just finishing playing the following CD, which was recorded and pressed in Holland with no English translation in the CD booklet.  The performance was quite good.  Q, what do you know about this ensemble?

A little Messiaen goes a long way with me, but Oiseaux Exotiques here really is a lot of fun.
