You don't have to be named "David" to listen to classical music, but it can't hurt.  ;D

Good morning.
There will never be another era like the Golden Age of Hollywood.  We didn't know how to blow up buildings then so we had no choice but to tell great stories with great characters.-Ben Mankiewicz

Nocturnes. Very exciting music for a nocturne. Obvious influences of Stravinsky.

Hector

Radio on and Brahms/Schoenberg Piano Quartet op.25.

So soon after Paavo Jarvi's exciting Proms performance, still fresh in the memory.

This time on CD, Eschenbach in Houston. If the Beeb goes on like this I will not need a recording of this excellent piece!

On iPod, Toch, again. I need to be convinced. Fine performances, though.
