Now, don't try telling us that those eyebrows remind you of your dear Mrs Harry;)

If you call her that, she will most certainly get her wand from the attic! ::)

I take it you are speaking literally and not with innuendo?  ;D

We agree! (About it being "gutsy")  ;D

These are sonatas formerly attributed to Mozart - so, sort of fake Mozart. ;D
According to the booklet the real composer remains unknown and some doubts remain.
Still, these are pretty good. Performance is excellent.

Q

HIP dude, George needs you! $:)

Clarinet Sonata
Aha, and I just finished his trio for basoon, oboe and piano (together with Ravel woodwind works). Loved it.

Of course not.

Why, she had three leaves of lettuce only yesterday.

Without exception or doubt the ugliest cover art I have ever seen.  ;D

For me it's Ivan Anguelov's take on Dvorak's Second Symphony. If someone says they dislike this symphony ... well, it's because they haven't heard this performance. I only wish he had taken the first-movement exposition repeat.  :)

Sinfonia da Requiem

Chris, how do you find Elder in The Planets? I have this but can't decide if I'm entirely convinced by it. Just sounds a bit uncommitted.

Uncommitted could be a good way to describe it because last nights live performance by the APO was gigantic! The tempi, especially in Mars, was quicker which added to the power. I'd have to listen to another recorded performance to make a comparisim but the Elder is okay.  :)

Obviously she just stopped dead in her tracks staring at a McDonald's sign.
