Roman Statkowski - Maria (live webcast tomorrow evening)

Anyone interested in exploring little known repertoire might want to "tune in" tomorrow evening to Polish Radio Channel 2 (here's a link to their webcast). At 19:00 CEST (UTC+2) they will be broadcasting Roman Statkowski's opera Maria. It was written in 1904. Statkowski's music is generally said to have been strongly influenced by Tchaikovsky. It is very rarely performed today, this is quite an event (the opera was quite popular in its day).
