A great PT session. Got home in time to "turn and burn." Now in an Uber en route to the interview.

Went well. The job would be an excellent fit for many reasons. They have some more interviews to conduct, so now I wait.

No idea what "turn and burn" means?  Trying to recover from PT (I'm guessing)?  Hope that the interview went well.

As to the derivation of turn and burn, I'm rather fogged, myself, but my old friend Scott uses it of a trip where the initial stop is brief, so that he turns right around, as it seems.

I think it comes from fighter pilots. Once they've engaged and finished their run, they literally turn around and engage their afterburners to get out of their pronto, hence "turn and burn."

A couple of weeks. Meanwhile, another place should soon reschedule the other interview which got bumped. That job would complement the other nicely. One is mornings, the other is two afternoons, and they're both very close by.

I'll see what I learn at the last session/debriefing on Thursday.

Kind of a long day, starting with a 10:30 follow-up appointment with my PCP (it was 11 when she came to the examination room.) That's not a complaint-- at this time when women are dying for want of proper medical attention, I know better than to complain of an insignificant inconvenience. That did force me to reconfigure travel plans. I did get to Salem and back. Got back to Woburn essentially just in time to be ready for pickup to the Henning Ensemble rehearsal, which was both great fun, and tiring. I've just now managed at last to have something to eat. Quite bushed, but I shouldn't go to bed quite this early, so I'll bethink me some video diversion to while the time before hitting the hay so it knows it's been hit. All in all, a day to be grateful for.

I was in the control group, so it seems I've had no direct interaction. They will reach out to me about in-home rehab. That suggestion piqued my curiosity.
