I've heard from Dave at last (he's apt to be the toughest to pin down) so when I get back home I can determine an August concert date for the Woburn Public Library.

Separately, as one of my estranged brothers has appeared in a couple of recent dreams, I thought I'd try calling again. He did indeed pick up the phone and we caught up nicely. That felt good.

Was just on the phone with my publisher to register works performed in 2024 in order to apply for the ASCAP Plus award, which is a modest dealie for composers like me who earn "less than  $25,000 in domestic performance royalties." It very nearly reads like sarcasm, but I'll accept whatever scraps I may.
