There's a fellow composer here in Boston with whom I've been "friends" for a looong time but A. whom I've never met and B. with whom I have (so to say) a significant mutual friend. He reached out this morning to express regret that he was unable to attend the King's Chapel concert, and a pretty substantial text exchange ensued. We shall get together over coffee in Boston Monday.

Random recollection while en route to school this morning: making paper jackets to protect the covers of school textbooks.
Separately, the dentist I had been seeing is now (for whatever reason) no longer in my insurance network. Here's hoping I like the new. At least, A. he's also nearby and B. He was easy to find. I see him this afternoon.

Greta has lined up wind players for Joseph & Mary. Reconnecting with her and Eric has been a blessing.

What a trip! Between 6th and 7th periods I ran into a chap I uses to sing with at St Paul's: Brian Gilberti. He must teach music here at the High School. Planning to catch up with him more.
