Before I say what I think, I have to ask one more question: have you ever tortured small animals for fun?

No, never animals but in my early teens during summer months I sometimes liked to pour salt on slugs (a gastropod mollusk, similar to a large snail but without its shell) and watch them shrivel up and become goo.... That was pretty much it.

I was a quiet, timid kid and spent most of my leisure time listening to music.
