Is there a place online (or in a book) where one can look up different pieces of Classical Music and find a matrix of themes:

(something like this, for example)

Brahms Symphony 4
1st mvt - Sonata Form
Theme 1 - mm 1-53
Transition - mm 53-86
Theme 2 - mm 87-106
Closing Section - mm 107-144
Development - mm 145-246
Recapitulation - mm 246-393
Coda - mm 394-end

I love to study scores and it sure would make life a lot easier.

Apparently no ideas on this.   :-\

Maybe we should start a thread to post various compositions.......

I bought a bunch of used scores and almost all of them have the info you wanted marked on them, some of them in excruciating detail. But you can't count on that I guess :-\
