I ask myself, what would life be without GMG.
It would mean less friends to share the wonder of classical music.
It has a essential place in my life!
What is it to you?

Its a place where Ive wasted much of my young life!

Harry - sweet sentiments that cannot be denied!  :)  Comin' in late, but I've really enjoyed reading the positive responses to your thread - for myself, I indeed check in daily & this is my most active forum (in fact, only have one other related to woodworking - could join more, but I'd rather dedicate the time that I devote to these two, but I by far post most often here) - best wishes to all 'around the world' that have made this community of music lovers great!  Dave  :D

It is addictive, and that can create problems.  I have a lot of activities competing for my time, so sometimes I have to pull myself away and disappear for a few days in order to get other things done, but I always come back.

It is also a good source of information and recording reviews, so of course it can cause me to spend money.

CMG? *ducks*

With all respect for CMG. I don't think so!
I was there several times, but somehow that is a totally different site than GMG.
