A very nice bok for browsing. Be aware that  there is a heavy British slant to the recordings (tons of Hyperion) and also as regards composers (two Holst discs eg). If other countries were to be as well represented, this would be 5001 Classical etc.

sarge; I've heard several on your missing list. But have you really heard the Tournemire cycle? That's real impressive. Edit: Maybe I'm confusing the book with the published list here; haven't cheked the URL-ed list for Tournemire.
