I heard and greatly enjoyed some really good Brazilian music on the radio today, and it brought to my attention how diverse this genre (if it could be called that) is--and how little of it I have in my collection. I've been hearing a lot of this lately, including on KCSM "The Bay Area's Jazz Station"--perhaps it is someone's birthday or something?
I would like to hear about your favorites, and add some more interesting discs LPs/CDs (downloads) to my collection. I am interested in single albums, but also boxes. A few of my favorites are:
Brazilian Guitar Fuzz Bananas (AWESOME in LP format)
Sinatra with Jobim and Claus Ogermann (one of my favorite LPs!)
Milton Nascimento (can't even find the discs now, but have a few albums on FLAC)
Putumayo Presents: Brazilian Lounge
