Overture to the Opera
'The Caliph of Baghdad'
(Paris, 1804)

Francois Adrien Boieldieu (1775-1834) - French composer. He with Etienne Mehul were the leading opera composers in France during the first quarter of the 19th century and Boildeau remains a central figure in the opéra comique tradition.

The harpconcerto is a really lovely classic and has been performed by the crême de la crême of harpists!
